TRAVIS PASTRANA ? No. 60 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Mustang

ON HIS RACE:?We were working with Trevor all day and just biding our time in the back. I thought it was perfect because we were catching them and we were right to where we wanted to be with about eight to go. We went three-wide and I knew I had to stay on Trevor if we wanted a chance for the win and went three-wide. The guy on the inside came up a little bit and I was trying to hold my own. I probably could have given him a little bit more room, but it?s just disappointing. I just wanted to stay right where Trevor was and I knew that was my ride if we wanted to go have a chance to win.?

DID YOU KNOW IT WAS GOING TO GET HAIRY LIKE THAT AT THE END? ?Without a doubt. We knew it was coming. That?s what we always say, if you crash in the last 10 laps so be it, but it was unfortunate. We lined up like three-wide for so long and everyone started getting really antsy there. We were trying to push and that?s what happens. Our strategy was to stay in the back. We unfortunately caught that yellow at the wrong time. We were exactly in the wrong spot, but it is what it is. We had a great motor with Roush Yates, but I thank Trevor for working with me that whole race.?

JOEY LOGANO ? No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang

ON HIS RACE:?Our two Mustangs were the fastest for sure. Once we got up front you really couldn?t pull us apart. Even when we got pushed back, a lot of times we went back to the front. We led laps and I was pretty impressed with the whole tandem. That?s one of the best speedway cars I?ve ever had and you get shuffled out. We went to the back and the caution came out, so we weren?t able to make up what we lost, and then we never could find out the lineup. If we would have been able to clear the pack that we were in, we could have run down the front cars. I really thought going into one on the last lap that I was in good shape. I was like, ?OK, this is where I want to be. I?m gonna be all right,? and then we never went anywhere. It?s frustrating that we had the two fastest cars and I don?t even know where we finished.?

SAM HORNISH JR. ? No. 12 PPG Ford Mustang

ON HIS RACE:?Our Ford Mustangs showed the way for most of the show. We got separated on one of the restarts and then by the time we got back up there to try and make our move, the yellow came out and we were all kind of jacked up as far as where we were on the lineup. Nobody really knew where anybody was supposed to be, and it was just difficult to get hooked back up. But once we got hooked up, I was like, ?great,? and then I looked and I saw where the leaders were at and they were gone. I was surprised that Joey and I got hooked back up, but we really showed what these Roush Yates power plants could do and how good our Mustangs were, but the big thing for us is we got out of here with a car still intact, which was very, very fast, so that?s great for coming back here the next time. We had a teammate that worked with us all night and took care of us and helped us out with the points stuff, and we gained a couple more, so that?s all you can hope to do on days like this. We wanted so much more, but some days it?s not meant to be, so I?m real happy with our PPG Ford Mustang. It?s a little bit frustrating to lead that many laps and not be able to at least get a top five out of it, but for what happened to us at some of these other plate races, where you get back just a little bit and have a problem, you?ve got to be thankful to maximize the points that we did get.?

IT SEEMS AT THESE PLATE RACES IT ALWAYS COMES DOWN TO A GREEN-WHITE-CHECKER. ?Yeah, and the way that restart really set up that Joey and I weren?t in line with each other. I was forced to go with the 11 and I was pushing the 11 and the 1 was into me so hard that I thought I was gonna pull out and make a move and get us close to the other guys. It worked out that I got right back with my teammate, but you work so hard and you position yourself and you do the right things and when you get down to the end of it there are opportunities that sometimes you just can?t close that hole, especially when you?re trying to drive for two people instead of one. Joey took care of me all night and I tried to do the same for him, and getting down there at the end you can maybe make some moves that will help you out a little bit, but you might wreck both of you if you do it. It?s a different form of racing and I had a lot of fun tonight, but it just wasn?t quite good enough.?

TREVOR BAYNE ? No. 6 Cargill Ford Mustang

ON HIS RACE: ?We?re points racing now, so one bad race can take us out of the hunt so we tried to be smart. We got a top-10 finish, but it was a tough race to get through. It was not fun to ride around in the back. We tried to work our way to the front at the end but it just didn?t pay off. You play the odds. Here at a superspeedway, most of the time there is a big crash that you don?t want to be a part of, and normally we?re in the middle of it. So today we decided to ride in the back and wait for the crashes, then work our way to the front by the end.?
