We realize there's only so much time one can spend in a day watching new trailers, viral video clips, and shaky cell phone footage of people arguing on live television. This is why every day The Atlantic Wire highlights the videos that truly earn your five minutes (or less) of attention. Today: Bo Obama briefly misbehaves for the cameras, the Taiwanese animated guide to why you're not attending SXSW, and the On the Road trailer arrives in timely fashion.

Hands down, today's best cameo by a White House pet in a local news report was made by Bo Obama, who made a not-quite-blink-and-you-miss-it appearance in a bumper clip prior to the president's interview with Univision's El Paso affiliate. It's somehow reassuring to learn that when he isn't starring in videos detailing White House Easter Egg Roll protocol, the president's dog is as poorly behaved as any of our dogs. More so maybe, because our dogs have never misbehaved in front of the White House while cameras are rolling. ? [KINT 28 via @ZekeJMiller]

South by Southwest -- the technology and entertainment confab in Austin -- has been thoroughly skewered by Next Media Animation, the Taiwanese animation company responsible for the predictable but still very funny videos about Super Bowl week and the legacy of Steve Jobs at Apple. With a little finesse, this could be even the inspiration for an intriguing SXSW panel: How Taiwanese Animation Is Changing The Way We Laugh About Our Shared Cultural History. [NMA via Movieline]

The first trailer for the sepia-steeped screen version of Jack Kerouac's On the Road was a viral success on Monday, which we'd like to think had more to do with today being the 90th anniversary of the author's birth than the fact Kristen Stewart is one of the leads. If you're going to turn On the Road into a movie, we suppose this the way to do it: with lots of voiceovers, giant cars, and wistful ambient music. It makes for a pleasing enough trailer, considering the novel is supposed to be unfilmable. But is all the moody moodiness going to be sustainable for two hours in a theater? ? ?[Brow Beat]

Today, in timelapse video brilliance: a 90-second long pregnancy. We know, we know -- you've seen a pregnancy in 90 seconds before. But hang in until the ending, because it's the best resolution to a time-lapse pregnancy video we've seen to date. [The Telegraph]?
